Lisa Marie Draper-Williams Obituary
Oct. 5, 1956 ~ Dec. 1, 2014
Lisa passed away peacefully after a short illness.
Lisa was born in Salt Lake City and raised in East Millcreek. Her backyard was a mountain and her front yard had a creek. She and her many cousins had a wonderful childhood playing with each other. She graduated from Skyline High where she was very involved with the stage crew. After high school she worked in movie theaters where she met her husband, David Covey Williams. They were married on April 9, 1982 in Salt Lake City. Lisa was the first female director of The Theatrical Equipment Association. Lisa owned her own theater equipment and service company. Real estate was next and she excelled at it. She had numerous rabbits as pets and her last companions were two Dachshunds named Butch and Sundance.
Lisa was a beloved wife, cousin, sister and aunt. She was optimistic and cheerful, with a very bright mind. She loved and accepted everyone. She could talk to anyone. She loved Disneyland, Hebgen Lake and her beloved Millcreek.
Lisa is survived by her husband (David), four siblings (Claudia, Malcolm, Ingra and Eric), cousins, nieces and nephews. Everyone loved Lisa and she will be greatly missed.
Services will be held at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park, 3401 Highland Drive, Saturday, December 6th at 1:00 P.M.
In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Utah Kidney Foundation.
